This year’s summer in the Podhale region is not something we would think of when mentioning summer. The rainfall we suffered last week was really close to get the first place in raining rankings. It caused many damages as water levels in local brooks and rivers have dramatically rised. Some places were flooded and some trails in Tatras and roads are still closed as a result of it.
Also tourists that visited the area have to change their summer plans which is the last thing you want to do when on vacation. They came to admire the beauty of Tatras and all they saw was clouds and mist. In such situation it’s good to take ZakoLove’s recommendations into consideration and pick the waterproof ones. Thermal baths have an advantage of being warm and comforting, even the outdoor pools can soothe nerves wrecked by the bad weather.
