The unique landscape of the gorge, shaped by the bend of the Białka River, is breathtaking. The riverbed is surrounded by forests and interesting rock formations with three caves, the Tatras are also clearly visible from this place. On both sides of the river, impressive cliffs dominate - Kramnica on the right and Obłazowa on the left side. Formerly they formed one rock massif and were separated years ago by the flow of Białka River.
The rapid rains in July this year caused Białka to overflow its banks and run a several-meter-wide stream beyond, the effects could be seen even a few weeks later.
Białka's gorge is popularly visited by the inhabitants of Podhale, it is the destination of weekend beaching by the river on hot days. More and more often there are newlyweds performing wedding photo sessions. The surrounding rocks are also a paradise for climbing expeditions (attentive tourists will notice traces of climbing routes on the walls).
It is worth experiencing Białka river gorge at least once to meet the nature in its original, authentic form. Please keep in mind to leave this place in this state - let's collect our trash (and also others’) and the foremost - let's not destroy the nature.
